How to do a component pattern

I am having an assembly file & I am inserting an component into it ,there are almost 10 instances of this component .How can I use pattern on this component?

Also I want to vary the no. of instances for this components so Can I give some name to the pattern?

This sounds like pretty basic assembly structuring. Also the number of
instances can be controlled by using a family table. That's pretty basic
stuff too.



What are you trying to do? Do you have any type of hole pattern to
reference? Are you revolving your components? Are you making some kind of
rectangular array? The message is just a little too vague to get specific
directions from. More information means better help.

If you can build the placement references by using pattern in the related part, Then you can ref pattern the component in the assembly.
