IFX grayed out in some assemblies

Hi

My colleague has encountered a strange issue. IFX grayed out in some his assemblies for some reasons. They were all good the day before. I checked it only happened on some assemblies. So my thought is that must be something different of those assemblies. So far I could figure out why.

Any causes will make IFX unavailable in an assembly?

Hi,

IFX is not available

• in DEX mode.
• in Unite Assemblies and THA (Truly Heterogeneous Assemblies).
• in Assemblies with at least one Unite/THA (since M050 it is possible to assemble fasteners to those asm).
• in sub modes like manufacturing or cabling ....

So please check on your end if you have Unite/THA models in your assemblies and give me feedback. We have a hidden option to enable IFX anyway.

They are assemblies with Unites.

So how can I enable IFX in this situation?

I'm interested in this hiddden Option too.

We have a Customer with Windchill and CED,

Now, he also start with Creo Parametric (5.0), and we try to force him to use IFX. 

So, if IFX would work with CED-Assemblies open in Creo Parametric, would be a big argument.
