Insert without associativity

Hi,

I have created a Sub-Assembly that I want to copy and insert into my project to have it twice.

The second assembly has to be independent from the first part because the dimensions have to be different.

When I just copy it then the first part changes its dimensions when I change the dimensions of the second part.

So how can I do that ?

Thanks,

Maik

First are the parts the identical or are the "different dimensions" in the lengths of the parts you are putting together.

You can make a family table of the sub-assembly and then add the dimension to the family table for the different dimensions. If the dimensions are in the parts, you can make the family table in the parts and then call the different instances in the family table of the sub-assemblies.
