I haven't read the license agreement, but I don't think that would restrict using it for a commercial use. The main limitation is that you can only build 60 parts with the Express version of the software.

Real Commercial users are working with Modeling (aka SolidDesigner)

Data created by the Express Edition can't be loaded by the commercial SolidDesigner and vice versa.

Also, you will not be able to load Models available through different Internet Portals.

As such, users of Express Edition are pretty disconnected from the majority of SolidDesigner users/models.

To import something to Express 6 is not the issue.
Export Model of Modeling to .stp and then you can load the model in Express 6.

That is the strength of modeling. You can just keep working. No history, just merrily going to work.

The challenge is to export the work of Express so that you could use it "commercial" in Modeling.
But there you can save only images and STL and the "Express User" can use the formats .bd2 and .pk2 to exchange.
That's what PTC has predetermined.

If you find a way to get around this, the discussion begins.

PTC Support and R&D are able to load the .PKG2 and .BD2 data into Commercial Modeling (with special, non-public Tools)

In former times,PTC offered a "conversion Service" - but  this is no longer available.
