Hi all,
i am still trying to find a way of passing information created within a layout to a drawing format. I have created a series of parameters in a layout & declared parts to this layout. When i open these parts, the parameters are visible, albeit locked. What i am failing to understand is why my drawing format will not display the parameter value in the same way it would, had the parameter just been created in the the part rather than passed down to it from a layout. I thought the whole point of layout was to have a central location for design intent, including parameters. Can this be done, or am i wasting my time pursuing this. If there is anyone out there with an answer, i would greatly appreciate it.
