Why is it that when doing a Save-As on a part, we lose our mating conditions when we open the assembly and try to "replace" the old part number with the new Save-as part number? Even if we make no changes what-so-ever to the model other than its name. In NX we never had this problem.
We are getting ready to go from development to production part numbers and have to save-as on almost all of the filenames. I don't want to have to remate every piece in the assembly (1000+)! And I can't use "rename" because we will lose our design history. Any suggestions?
