Methods of copying surfaces for CFD simulations

I have a fairly complex assembly model of a wind tunnel, but I need to copy just the hydraulic surfaces into another part/assembly in order to export to the CFD program. I generally use IGES as the format to do this. My problem is that everything in the assembly is a solid, and I don't really know of a good efficient way to copy just the surfaces of those solids in order to create the IGES file. Any suggestions?
