We have modeled in a very complex system using an old set of hand drawings that are in PDF form. We would like to verify that everything from the original drawings has been captured in the models by attaching an accounting marker with each dimension, note, GD&T symbol, etc. in the PDF file...or in a Pro/E drawing that was "imported" from the PDF...and document those markers in a spreadsheet, database, etc. We can then "inspect" the models to ensure those items have been captured and are correct.
As I mentioned, this is a very complex assembly. Therefore, any level of automation available with PTC tools/processes or complementary products for all or part of what we are trying to do would be helpful.
