Possible to Import XML data for feature level parameters

I have a file with dozens of independent features that I want to create similar parameters for. I can export the XML data, but it does not contain the appropriate information to re-assign the parameters on import. Any one have any ideas?

It may be possible, if you have test data that you have tried with then post it here with a detailed explanation of exactly what you are attempting to do and what you have tried that did not work. It is not clear in your post, but I am assuming that you are attempting to import feature parameters and not part parameters.

From Creo Parametric 4.0 and onwards, in Parameters dialog box

  • Parameters from different context, such as a feature parameter and a model parameter at the same time if viewing multiple parameters.

Article - CS54195 - How to copy/export parameters from one model and import to another model in Creo Parametric

This article is specific to copy/paste of parameters (not import), but you can import feature parameters using XML. You need to set the Look In to the feature context when importing the XML and select the relevant feature. I do not believe that you will be able to import the feature parameters and apply them to multiple features simultaneously. You can automate this process for each feature by creating a mapkey sequence to import the parameters for each feature.

There is some very old guide to something similar where you can find answers.
