Remove a part from drawing

Hi,

I have a drawing file which is associated with 3 parts. How to remove 1 part without affecting the drawing?

If there are any views of the model, the views need to be deleted. Then, while in the Layout tab (WF5, Creo?) right click for drawing models and choose Delete. You can't delete models if there are views of it, so picking the wrong one won't be a big problem.

Thank you for your reply David. Meanwhile I have found something else also. File-Drawing Models-Delete Model.

I did this after removing the views of that part.

Hi Harish...

If i am not wrong,

You can delete that part by selecting right?

correct if i am wrong.

A better way would be to create a Simplified Rep without the part and assign the rep to the drawing view. At least tht is how I would do it.
