Remove section from Rib.

I want to remove section from rib. But I don't get any proper solution.

I did search in Google  and get some solutions but it is not perfect.

One is , By creating sketch with use edge, it is not possible to manage the changes in model.

Another is, exclude the rib in representation. if I will exclude the Rib then radii. will also get suppressed. so again it is not useful.

Why PTC don't add simple solution? Like in the Rib command there should be simple option for cross section.
