I have certain drawings that use the same template/format but not the same notes. I think the best solution is to save the notes and insert them when needed, but is it possible to set and save a position on the drawing for the note instead of "eyeballing" the note position every time for each drawing?
I think you can do this with B&W program SMARTannotate:

Setting or saving the position is not an option you can try using coordinates for note placement.
But both versions save the notes in a file called StickyNotes.snt, located in the C:\Users\login\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Sticky Notes folder. (When I write login, I mean the name you use to log into Windows.) You can easily get to C:\Users\login\AppData\Roaming by selecting Start, typing %appdata%, and pressing ENTER.
