One of our users is redefining component placement in a large assembly.
The pre-highlighting of model faces (for mate & insert) is nearly instantaneous, which is good.
However, when the user actually clicks to select a pre-highlighted face, he has to wait 30-60 seconds for the selection to complete (display in red).
One would think that the selection should be as fast as the pre-highlight.
This is happening for every component that he is trying to redefine, even simple fasteners.
Any ideas why this might be happening, or suggestions as to what to look for?
