Swept blend of 2 sections turning out wrong

I am trying to do a swept blend on two semi circle like shapes, the curves are actually splines. However the blend ends up like a conical shape in the middle when i want a smooth transition from the bigger semi circle to the smaller one. Need advice please!

The start point and/or direction of your two curves is not correct on both curves.
