Tutorials for fist time user

Hi,

I am new to Creo Elements Direct Modeling Express 4.0 and will use the program now for the first time.

I am not familliar with the names of the different versions, but I see there is also a Pro.

I am looking for tutorials to learn this program.

Now I see there are several tutorials but it appears that they are for the pro and they are written for specific tasks / problems and not for the beginner.

Will they work on the Express (freeware one) as well or is the difference too much?

Is there any other place where I can get tutorials for the beginner?

Regards

Johan

Good luck!

On the top right of the program right next to the ? mark or help, there's a down arrow, if you click on that you will expand the options and the third option is called Quickstart Projects. These are the same ones that pop up when you first install the program, but if you close that window this is where you open them back again. Just follow the videos or the text and this will help you with the basics on using the program. It's what I'm doing and the videos help a lot since I can keep replaying what I don't get. It takes time but I find those very helpful. I hope this helps.

Hello Johan,

you can also take a look at the website Using Creo: http://usingcreo.com/

Here you'll find lots of information, for exemple movies containing tutorials and tips.

Good luck!
