Hi all
I have an existing part which includes an ultrasonic weld feature. Currently the feature works (in that it melts and fuses to the other part) but I don't feel it works as well as it could. I've attached the feature and the plate which is welded to it (both simplified to show just the feature). The parts are both polycarbonate.
Could anyone propose improvements to this feature which would make a stronger untrasonic weld, without changing the thickness of either part?
Any help much appreciated.
