Varying pattern instance increment

Dimension patterns

You can vary instance geometry by adding the relative dimension in the direction box and setting an increment, but am I right in suggesting the distance between the instances can only be incremental increased/decreased by the'Defining increment by relation'option?

Cheers, Sean

I believe it can be controlled by a family table, but I would suspect (without knowing what your part is) that a relation may be easier. We do piping, so a lot of flanges. Our angular increment on these are controlled by a relation to the number of holes in order to make them ANSI compliant.
