WF2 on Windows 7

Good Afternoon -

I have a friend who needs to do a project with WF2, and he only has Windows
7 available.

No Data Management system.

What is the last known good procedure to hack WF2 to run on Win7.

Thanks!!

Anthony:

We got WF2 to run on Win7 (64-bit) by copying over a working
installation from a WinXP machine, then resetting the license file to
the proper CPU ID using ptcsetup.exe. Trying to install WF2 directly
didn't work.

Best regards,
Kelly

We run Pro/E from a network install and WF2 ran just fine on Win7 that way. Currently running WF4 the same way.
