We have seen several changes in the behavior of profile sequences with
the addition of some of the new parameters in WF5. Old programs work
fine but new programs work differently, even when copying parameters
from old programs the sequences do not work in a similar manner. Has
anyone else experienced issues and found fixes. Here are some
specifics:
We are running WF5 both M010 and M020.
For profile milling:
1. Setting OVERTRAVEL_DISTANCE to values other 0 causes gouging (never
has in any other version)
2. Setting CIRC_INTERPOLATION to ARC_ONLY does not seem to work anymore.
Even on simple circles we are getting Pro to output as GOTO in point to
point. This has always worked in the past as expected.
Does anyone have a handle on these new settings and how they are
interacting with some of the standard settings?
