Why cant Creo 4.0 open DFT files but can open all other Solid Edge files? Or am i missing how to open them?

I just recieved files from a supplier and they cam in PSM and DFT files. I can open the PSM through creo but I can open the DFT and have to download another program to do it. Is there a way that CREO can open these files? I am running CREO 4.0

If I'm not mistaken, a .dft file is the drawing. In general, Creo can't open drawings from any other solid modeling software.

Drawings are typically exported and shared using DXF, IGES, DWG formats
