about 3d Sketchup in piping module

When we use the pipe module, we have a lot of bending pipe, and not in the sample plane. Because creo have no 3d Sketchup, this time we need to build face to 2D sketch, or make piping with a coordinate system. In this way, we can not get the exact angle and length of the straight section of the pipe. So, when I ask creo support 3d Sketchup.

Hi gm q,

Try creating datum points (use the Offset Coordinate System in the Point drop down).

Place the datum points where you want the pipe to go.  After you place the datum points, create a curve.  (drop down the Datum for creating the curve).  Once the curve is placed, you can create the Pipe by selecting the first datum point you created.

Best regards,

Lori

HI,lernst-2

I think it is also inconveniented by creating datum points. In this way,we need to calculate the position of each bend point. And more time, the straight length  and the bending angle of the pipe are not the number we want. We can get the number of the straight length  and the bending angle of the pipe that we want in 3D sketch.
