Back in May of 2010 there was a discussion of using :att in a note to display parameter information from the part the leader of the note is attached to.
I've been using the following note to display part number and description:
&bom_part_no:att_mdl
&bom_description_asm:att_mdl
Question I have is rather than creating a note each time, can I put this into a symbol?
I tried defining a symbol, but it isn't including the leader.
Also does anyone know of a way of attaching a note to a sub assy rather than just parts?
