tell pro/e to ignore a certain component when running mass props analysis?

Is it possible to tell pro/e to ignore a certain component when running a
mass props analysis on an assembly?



Note that I don't want to set the density of the component to zero or
anything like that.

Can you make a simplified rep to exclude that component and the run the mass properties on the simplified rep assembly? Not sure if that will work or not...?
