Parameter Panel not updating with selection.

I am using Creo Schematics Release 12.0 and Datecode 12.0.0.0

When selecting a component on the schematic, previously (in v9.0) the parameter panel would update to show which component was selected, with version 12 however I have to close the parameter panel and reopen it to show which component I have selected to edit its parameters. What's strange is that another users computer does not have this issue with both mine and his installation being brand new.

I have already reinstalled 3 times to see if it would fix the issue but it has come back each time, I have also cleared any settings I changed and keyboard shortcuts etc to no avail.

There are no error messages in the console.

I finally figured this out for anyone who might read this and run into the same issue. I had installed Java JDK 21.0.9 and Creo Schematics 12 does NOT play nicely with JDK 21.0.9 at all. Creo Schematics 9 had the same issue with using a slightly different version of java (i.e. JDK 11.0 vs 11.0.0.2). There are other bugs with using this version of java as well which were also resolved by using the correct version of java.

The solution is to use the version of java with no bug fixes or update which is JDK 21.0.0.
