Parts in Assembly Fail to Load in Creo View

When opening assemblies from Windchill in CreoView, I frequently experience an error where some of the components do not load. They will appear in the model tree with a red dot next to the part name. There is no error message. The individual parts that fail to load can be opened on their own through Windchill. Also, when re-opening the assembly with parts that fail to load, sometimes different parts will fail to load from attempt to attempt.

This issue has not occurred for any other user at my company and also does not occur for me when using other PCs besides my laptop. We have attempted re-installing Creo View, clearing the cache, and other common fixes.

I've got the same issue but just don't have the time to troubleshoot and write a case with PTC right now. My version is WC12.0.2.18 with Creo View 8. Our workers are outputing creo view data from a Creo 9.0.6 worker. (Looking to upgrade to Creo View 11 in 1Q2025.) The pattern that I see is that when I open the representation from a CAD object it opens fine...but when I go to that corresponding representation from the WTpart page, I get this issue of red dot on objects in tree...and like you it is random. I am also testing the mutli-fidelity publishing and trying to open the "lo resolution" object into Creo View and seeing this. I don't have confirmation or time...but don't think I see this when opening the high fidelity rep. So my guess is opening the lo fidelity rep from a wtpart object at this time is the scenario for me.

For Reference, here are the side-by-side pictures of high fidelity versus low fidelity on a positioning assembly published structure. I'm guessing this is the icon you are seeing. All I have to do is change the Fidelity to high to repair it. In my case, I am seeing the geometry of the objects so really don't know what the icon is trying to tell me.
