Stop highlighting whole line segments when the only part that overlaps is the end point vertice.
Example: Sketch 3 line segments, then duplicate the middle segment.
Then use the "Overlapping Geometry Diagnostic" tool... All 3 line segments highlight.
Am I supposed to delete all 3 because they are overlapping? obviously no.
Tell that to new users who have enough troubles sketching without adding confusion.
SPR 2097338 was filed, but the Mathematician in R&D claims that it is working perfectly, because the end points of one segment "overlap" the end points of the adjacent segment, therefore, both should be highlighted.
I feel that "vertex overlap" should be excluded from the "Overlapping Geometry" Tool.
There is a separate tool to deal with Vertices - "Highlight Open Ends"
