Has anyone done a u-joint drive shaft mechanism? We are having problems with the pro/mechanism sort of drifting. I would be interested in any input you guys may have about this. We put together a drive shaft with two u-joints the input is free to rotate. The whole shaft can be rotated using the mouse. However when we put it in mechanism and drive the input with a servo motor, the run seems to stop almost at the very beginning. Almost as if the mechanism drifted its connections apart through the rotation process.
Any ideas?
