We are new users of Arbortext 6.0 and Windchill 10, and are using the SMA application for our product manuals.
As far as using graphics in our SMA topics, would it be better to put our graphics into a library in Windchill, then insert them into our Arbortext SMA topics, or to create an SMA Reference topic that is essentially a library of graphics, then insert conrefs to the graphics in that "library" topic?
Thanks,
Lisa A
Create the library in WC and insert them via the Resource Manager. The only reason to go the other way is if you're taking advantage of the keyref function in DITA 1.2. Even then, you wouldn't put them all in one "graphics library file."
Thanks, this is a very helful answer.
