This question is asked so often, it's part of the Adepters Archive:

Turning off the PIs is easy. You change an advanced setting in the preferences:
set writepi=off
It's documented in help topic #1587.
BTW: You'll have faster response time using the adepters mailing list:
The PTC/User portal (http://www.ptcuser.org) hosts the long-running Adepters mailing list. This list started in 1996 and has always been monitored by the PTC/Arbortext software engineering staff. Many long-time users and tools folks also regularly monitor the list. If you have a question, it's a really good resource as questions generally get answered within 24 hours. Beginning and advanced questions encouraged.
