Epic Editor/NPE

I'm a government contractor using epic editor to open NPE files to make corrections. I've been using this program for over 2 years and never had a problem. I recently recieved new files to work on and when I try to open them it gives me this error. A1118, then it opens the file all messed up.

I guess there is little chance to find the error without the file.

I'm attempting to open existing MRCs and edit them with Epic/NPE. I get the "SPLIT: unable to open SGM.TMP". Have you resolved your problem?
