How to update Graphic element attributes in the document type configuration file (.dcf file).

I don't exactly uderstand the question. In the ways it's formulated the answer will be "Open the respective .dcf in Editor and modify required elements (make sure the file is not read only - all "standard" .dcf in the <Editor>\doctypes or <Editor>\application folders are read only OOTB)".

What in particular you need to do?

Try looking for the "Setting defaults for intelligent graphics" topic in the Help Center (type 'help 5982' in the Editor's command line)
