From what I understand, the Datamerge functionality is not supported anymore. It can work, but is depreciated and not encouraged by PTC.
Is there a plan to bring this back or some new functionality that replaces it? We would like to tap in to existing database for specifications, etc. instead of keying the values in and maintaining a duplicate set of info.
Looking forward to hearing what other companies are doing, what PTC recommends and if a solution will be coming in the future.
