S1000D Stylesheets for Print?

Ok, back to this subject for a second please:

Anyone aware of any available S1000D stylesheets for PDF output?

We've been working XML to the Army's 40051 spec's XSL-FOs, but I'm not seeing anything at all available for S1000D. I hope to get a screen FOSI from our Trilogi browser guys, but they don't do PDFs. I understand EMS-NG is having to build their own PDF output stylesheets outside of the Army's XSL-FOs. The Army's XSL-FOs really aren't a very good basis for building something for S1000D in my opinion.

Earlier discussions (some even BAE guys 😉 by adepters have been very enlightening - thanks. Thought I'd ask this in a new unit of time to see if anyone has come across or come up with anything they were willing to share.

Thanks!

For some reason this seems to be a money maker for every company instead
of being a community supported activity. We bought a copy of AuthorPro
from Inmedius to get their stylesheets for both the editor and
composition. There might be other similar products that would get you that
capability without investing in a full system.

Actually...

The Arbortext S1000D solution comes with XSLFO stylesheets.

ADG's system also comes with stylesheets, but they're, uh, incomplete.

I have a current Arbortext solution, where would I find the XSL-FO stylesheet you mentioned? Thank you,

All for a price was my main point.

Inmedius was the only one at the time we did this (2 years ago) that had a
packaged solution that didn't require buying the full CSDB or some special
deal just for us.

Sorry just realized you were probably reacting to John's request for
XSL-FO stylesheets. Inmedius is using FOSI based styles.

Hi Liz,

I think you will find the stylesheet packs you had access to from ADG were
from many years ago and are well out of date.
ADG have updated and upgraded the stylesheet bundling since then, including
support for S1000D across all versions from v2.1 to v4.0 and several other
doctypes.

Tracey,

That's very good to hear. At the time they were shell stylesheets.

Cheers,
Liz
