I'm looking for a way to tell when the quick tags pop up menu was canceled out of (like clicking outside of the pop up menu or hitting the escape key).
I've tried mapping the escape key to an alias. The alias sets a flag I need to keep track of and then calls the alias that the original key mapping specified. I can get the key to execute the alias under normal conditions, but not when I press escape while the quick tags menu is up, which is where I actually need it.
Am I missing something? Is there a better way of doing this?
