Any company recommendations for 3D Laser Scanning?
Thoughts on service and price?

I am having a brain fart moment...I know I have done this in the past where I can create a pattern table then somehow remove the table but maintain all the pattern instances as individual features.
I'm on WF3 M140.
Thank you in advance for your inputs!

I'd be interested in this information as well and hope that this thread gets back on track.

I recommend Nvision Inc. for a great 3D Scanning service company.
We partnered with them many years ago and they are outstanding. We first started having Nivision scan some products for us and then quickly purchased a 3D Scanning System of our own. Today we still use them for high level Validation of Gauges and they support us on our 3D Scanning Hardware and Software we have in house.
Great group of people that know what they are doing.

I have used GKS for scanning. I usually get the stl data and assemble it to my part.

There are also different scanning technologies available, the 3D laser allows for a line of site inspection or you can use CT scanning if you want internal geometry too. However, the CT scanning has some limitations on accuracy and depth of penetration.

Wayne,
Here's a link to an affordable and experienced 3D laser scanning company:
They've done a lot of scanning for John Deere and other companies.
