Cannot zoom with scroll wheel

I have someone at work that cannot use their scroll wheel to zoom. We have the setting on the buttons for the mouse correct to my knowledge and the driver for the mouse are ok. Anyone know of anything else to try in order to get this working?

Been rebooted at least a half-dozen times.

I also have this problem with a new microsoft wireless explorer mouse and just cant resolve the issue. I have to put in an old PS2 mouse uninstall intelipoint software and reboot but I want to use the new mouse.

Pro doesn't seem to play well with Intellipoint mouses (meeses?) (mices?). We had similar problems and weird graphic issues. Resolved it by buying a Kensington mouse, and also use Space Explorer from 3d connexion.
