OK Mike, It appears Rocketdine has a fine materials database. Does anyone know of a materials database that is actually available and conveniently importable to mechanica

TTT

I am trying to do a finite analysis in Pro-e 3.0, the materials list of the part in question is made up of T5 and T6 Aluminium. The closest material in the Pro_e materials list is AL6061, does anyone know what type this refers to? (AL6061 comes in many different grades according to tempering process)

I would suggest formualting the materials files yourself using relaible sources. P. Cunningham Project Engineer www.swiftleisure.co.uk
