Does anyone have an extension spring with cross-over hooks modeled that
they are willing to share? Or, know where I can download?

Try Century Spring www.centuryspring.com
The have many models of springs available for download. I've
successfully found extension as well as compression springs in the past.
They're all Pro/E files with relations and parameters as an added bonus.
