Unigraphics filter

When trying to open a Unigraphics file on Creo 2.0 I get a message about turning on the Unigraphics filter.  How do you turn on this filter?

4 REPLIES 4

When openeing file change the type to Unigraphics Part (*.prt). Message which you were getting is basically sue to extension of files, Creo part files and Unigraphics files same .prt

Both Creo files and Unigraphics files end with ".prt".

The message reads "To Open unigraphics file, you must select the "Unigraphics (*.prt) filter."

Under File Open, the drop down for type does not have an option for Unigraphics (*.prt).

What am I missing?

Re: Set config.pro option intf3d_ug_install_dir to specify the location of the Unigraphics installation loadpoint.

Must you have Unigraphics installed for this to work?

Up to Creo 2.0 release, License INTF_FOR_UG is required and Unigraphics needs to be install locally on machine.

Starting from Creo 3.0, functionality has enhanced under "Unit Technology".
