creating a sin wave

I want to create a sin wave along a circular traj having 4 wave lenghts.
How do I go about doing this. (ProE wildfire 1)
2 REPLIES 2

Create curve from equation.
I would use cylindrical coordinates
Z=0
Theta=t*360
R=A*sin(b*Theta)

My example that worked was:
z=0
theta=t*90
r=10+sin(15000*t)

You could then do the other wavelengths in the other 3 quadrants.

I'm not sure this is what you would need, I would need more details.
