For those of you that use the ecad_hint.map file, I was curious whether you create a single mapping file for all of your PCBs (and append it with new entries) or if you prefer to have a separate mapping file for each individual PCB?
What would the use case be for multiple ecad_hint.map files? Seems like alot of unneeded IT headache. Managing one file with microsoft excel and appending the file is the way to go. Then converting it to a flat text file.
