hi everyone,
Is it possible to operate a mapkey automatically or by a Pro-program??
e.g I have a parameter called ABC and a mapkey called XYZ.
if ABC = Yes than the mapkey XYZ will run otherwise not.
please help me if anyone knows this.....
No, you cannot. Mapkeys are called from the environment. The model responds to the environment.
There may be a way to write a custom J-Link program and embed it into the model. This could then execute some command (or possibly even a mapkey) when a certain value is entered in a parameter.
thank you tom,
but can u please give me a example of that if possible.????????
Hey ptc-4958059,
ProPROGRAM is a configuration tool i.e. it is applied on a "generic" type part to create its configurations. So there is a need to create fully sustainable "generic" part first.
Can you explain what kind of mapkey you want to link to PROGRAM condition, probably based on the above you still can perform your tasks with ProPROGRAM classical usage without a mapkey ?
