wood cross-hatch file

I don't suppose someone would have a .xch file that shows a wood grain
cross-hatch that they would be willing to share.

I'm not even sure it is possible given the straight line nature of all the
x-hatch files I have seen so far.

You need to let us know about this.

Something tells me that wood grain is something you can apply while
rendering. However I have never seen a cross section for wood...yet.
