Webcast Q&A
Question from Paul: How do you show the live convergence plot? Can that be shown for normal static study?
Answer: Yes. Click here for more.
Webcast Q&A
Question from Becca: Do you have a webinar/examples for the MechT example?
Answer: Picture two walls and a beam in between. There is initially a gap but then that gap goes away with thermal.
Question from Becca: Can you force-refine the contact faces and only the contact faces?
Answer: Yes, you can specify nodes along an edge and refine face to face for a typical contact.
Webcast Q&A
Question from Rajesh: Can we set ambient temperate as elevated say 75C and run the analysis? I believe default would be room temp 23C .
Answer: You can but i believe that would only effect a thermal analysis. The properties are not temperature specific with the exception of using a MechT example where thermal expansion eventually turns into a structure simulation.
At 55:35, the mentioned plot is a "real-time tracking of time spent in solving", but not a convergence plot, isn't it? Confused.
