The Design Review Working Group which was formed recently has been at work for the last few months. The goal of this group is to identify and document the key components and business processes needed for a successful MBD Design Review.
This Working Group started with the definition of Design Review – “What does Design Review” mean? Here are some definitions that we have received from the members thus far. We would love to hear from you as well.Send us your thoughts by replying to this thread.
It means that the modified design(s) are getting reviewed by either a different individual than the one who made the modifications or by a team to determine if the changes were made correctly, meet their needs for change, and if anything else inadvertently changed during the modification. Since companies are moving to paperless work environments, we need a quick way to compare, redline, and track PDF(s), drawing(s), and MDB files.
