Support Lifecycle of MathCAD and MathCAD Prime

I am part of the Mott MacDonald IT team.

We are in the process of transitioning to MathCAD Prime 10, as we have been informed that MathCAD 15 and MathCAD Prime 8 are reaching their end of life and will no longer be supported.

Could you please provide more information on the support lifecycle of these products? This will help us proceed with the removal of the older versions of MathCAD and MathCAD Prime.

Thank you.

Hello Vladimir,

Thank you for sharing this, I've already see it. This is 3 years old. Any news about the current version end of life?

With regards to Mathcad Prime 8 being on "end of life" and will no longer be supported", after 2025, we'll still have Mathcad Prime 8 available to download. You can see that now with Prime 7 despite that being past its support date. So it's not really "end of lifed"....
PTC Tech Support will still take calls and field questions on Prime 8 after 2025, but we won't fix problems in Prime 8 (and we didn't anyway); you'll see those bug fixes in Prime 9, or 10, or 10.0.1, or the upcoming 11.

But you should be free to upgrade to the latest version of Prime relatively easily as you're doing for Prime 10.

PTC Marketer Creo and Mathcad. I run their YouTube channels, some Creo campaigns, and all Mathcad campaigns and communications.
