Many moving pieces in the Creo Parametric Automation Space…Automation of CAD designs and documentation is becoming a VERY HOT subject.  But there is a right and wrong way to do this.  Best advice - always focus on the data. How does it come in? What purpose does it serve? Where does it need to go? I purchased and installed Mathcad Prime 12. However, I now understand that, because I am using a Dutch Windows 11 OS, Mathcad does not start. First of all, I find it unbelievable that PTC does not mention this very clearly beforehand, but that you are only confronted with this after purchasing. What really makes matters worse is that, although you start from and with the English website, you are redirected during the installation process to a Korean website, which is unreadable. So now I am stuck with a Mathcad version that I paid for and for which the 1-year period has already started, but which I cannot use. I would like this situation to be resolved ASAP.

Hello,I am looking for help with an issue involving sheet metal flat patterns, Creo Parametric, and Creo View.I am using Creo Parametric 10 and Creo View 12. When I create a flat pattern of a sheet metal part in Creo Parametric, the automatically generated bounding box overall length and width dimension annotations display correctly in Creo Parametric.However, when I open the corresponding file in Creo View, those automatically generated flat pattern bounding box dimensions do not appear in the Creo View viewable state.One thing I have noticed is that if I create manual dimensions in Creo Parametric, those manual dimensions do come through and display in Creo View correctly. The issue seems to be specific to the automatically generated dimensions created during flat pattern creation.Has anyone else seen this behavior with automatically generated flat pattern bounding box dimensions not publishing or displaying in Creo View? Hello, I  have been a paid user continuously since Version 1 back in the 80’s. In some important ways, Prime is still clunkier than earlier versions. I find I have to leave the keyboard, grab the mouse do some clicking on the document and then resume typing  to add every new region.I generally like to create my documents in two columns: equations in one, and text describing them right beside, but nicely aligned. In the old days you could type an equation, press a key (possibly it was Tab) and it would skip right and you could start typing text. Another key (return??) would take you to beginning of a new line and you could continue.  These days Tab only moves you to the next existing equation or document top, except it doesn’t even do that  if you are in a text region.How can you exit a text region and get over to the beginning of the next row without grabbing the mouse.  That is a lot of down and left arrows to press?What I would like isan easy keystroke to leave an region and go to th

Hello all,Long time Creo user, i started with a Logitech MX mouse, after a few years had a wrist pain. I switched to MX vertical for several years, no more wrist pain but now it’s the elbow. I read that a trackball could be ergonomically better than a mouse so I’m looking for a model. Anyone here using a trackball ? Do you have a model recommendation ? Models to avoid ? I’m using Creo for CAD and Esprit for CAM.Thanks.

I am aware of this utility:https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS115390?source=search and database mods are sometimes easy to do but I think its time to sick an intern on this project. For those cases where I import some data that needs to start life at a higher revision other than initial, I need a clean way to alter the current identifier to something else. I can envision the UI being a simple drop down list or validated textbox for user entry but would need to accept a new version letter and alter the object. Supporting multiselect would be nice too. It also should handle erorr checking caveats to maintain sanity. Posting here if anyone else has thoughts and can supply some useful requirements I can fold in. Willing to share results with field when complete. 

It is said that in order to run PTC Mathcad Prime, you must have the latest Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.x package for Windows x64 installed on your computer. At the same time .NET 8 end of life (EOL) is November 10, 2026 – after this date, Microsoft issues no further security patches or bug fixes. EOL means real risk: unpatched vulnerabilities, compliance failures... Am I missing something? It seems rather serious. It looks as if I have to skip the latest version. Does Mathcad Prime v12 work with .NET 10?

Hi Team,Looking for suggestions. We have limited Creo Parametric licenses (PROE_DesignAdvP T3 and PROE_DesignAdv T2). Is it possible to control license selection via the Creo launch .bat file so it checks FlexNet availability and automatically switches to the next available license if the preferred one is fully consumed?I’ve tried using lmutil lmstat in the batch file to check license usage. it checks the license count then close the launcher bat. i tried different codes but it is still bypassing the license count check. I have a great process for mass-printing or creating PDF’s from Creo View.  One of the key steps is collecting all the objects in Windchill and adding them to the clipboard. Does anyone know a way I can select an assembly, collect all the drawings of the assembly components and add them to the clipboard?  Anywhere I can get to that has the collection rules doesn’t seem to have Copy and anywhere that has Copy doesn’t seem to have a collector. Thanks in advance!
