Treat number output from tag as a boolean

Hello,

I'm trying to fill out the status page of the configuration section for an asset. For the fields that have to do with time, it seems to want tags with boolean outputs, but the tags I have access to are outputting numerical values. Is there a way to say "if tag is increasing, value = true; if tag is static, value = false"? This list of avaliable operators seems a bit limited, but I'm hoping there is something I'm overlooking.
