My software won't load and a message comes up saying 'connection failed' and it asks for proxy server details - it never used to do this. Does anyone know how I can overcome it?

You have to go to the site of PTC and get your own code as described.

Do you have multiple user accounts with PTC?
Is it possible that you have activated Express with one account and are now requesting the activation code with the other?
