OVERVIEW

Crestron Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical CAD Librarian. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast growing organization.  We are seeking a polished, proactive, and professional CAD Librarian to support the Engineering Services Department. In this role, you will develop and maintain the CAD library, review CAD parts and assemblies and support CAD applications for the mechanical engineering department within a firm that cultivates a close-knit and collaborative corporate culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop Mechanical CAD library parts and components
• Assist with development, compliance and documentation of CAD standards, procedures and best practices
• Will work closely with the Director of Engineering Services and the CAD Department members
• Will directly assist Mechanical Engineers in various CAD related activities and training throughout the product development

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• Requires thorough knowledge and ability to use Pro/ENGINEER/Creo Parametric minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Requires thorough knowledge and ability to use Windchill PDMLink, minimum 2 years’
• Able to suggest Creo and Windchill Methods to aid in process improvements
• 3D Parametric CAD experience with:
  • Assemblies
  • Standardized component libraries
  • Sheet metal and injection molded plastics
  • Electronic components and enclosures
  • Windchill life cycle process
  • CAD library parts
  • Multi-user environment where standardized files are shared
• Ability to work:
  • Independently in a team environment
  • Quickly, accurately and balance competing demands
  • On multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
• Knowledge of ASME 5-2009 GD&T practices and standards
• CAD experience with board mechanicals for PCB design a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to be creative and solve problems
